Líf í stofunni

Gather on the sofa: watch Sjónvarpið live, read comics together, play quis? with the remote passed around, and turn the wall into a living painting. Líf í stofunni brings líf.is to the living room. Everything is made for the remote, for watching from the sofa and for more than one person at a time. The app is in Icelandic. WHO IS HOME? Choose who is sitting on the sofa: eight animals you can give names, such as “Amma”. The games use the seating order, so the remote is passed around. SJÓNVARPIÐ The líf.is channel, live around the clock, in a drawn TV set with today's schedule. Swipe down for the guide. Play/Pause pauses the programme; press it again to return to the live broadcast. Use the remote's volume controls for sound. QUIS? TOGETHER Move between answers with the remote and click to choose. Everyone answers in turn, the answers are revealed together, and personality quizzes end with “Who is what?”. TOPP5 Count down from fifth place to first, with a drumroll before number one. READ TOGETHER Myndarsögur comics on the big screen, one page at a time, with automatic page turning. The app remembers where you stopped. THE WALL Posters, art and comics from vegg.líf.is. Leave the remote alone and the wall becomes a living painting. DRAWING CONTEST, BUBBLES AND MORE Everyone draws the idea of the day on paper while the clock ticks. Throw the bubbles from the líf.is front page, look at tonight’s moon and see today’s village and island. THE GAME ROOM Play Öldugangur í Rækjuvík on the TV with the remote. Other games on leikja.líf.is show a QR code so you can continue on your phone. MORE TO DO TOGETHER Try 320 drawing exercises with a calm timer, choose star signs for tonight's horoscope, or find the weekend quiz and top-5 list. Top Shelf offers shortcuts to the live channel, games and comics. During a FaceTime call, SharePlay lets you watch the same live channel together. EVENING IN THE LIVING ROOM From 7 pm the app dims so the screen does not light up the room. No account, no ads and no tracking. Content from other people can be reported or hidden: press and hold a card, or press down when a post, artwork or list is open.
